Europe Capital – The pan-European real estate investment manager has appointed Radina Koleva as Senior Partner, Portfolio and Asset Management. With nearly a decade of experience in the real estate industry, Koleva will be primarily responsible for supporting the asset management of Europa Capital’s open-ended Europa Diversified Income Fund. Koleva, who will be based in the Paris office of Europa Capital and will report to Diederik Bakker, joins QNB Capital where she was responsible for the co-management of a 600 million euro portfolio of core and value-added commercial real estate in France focused on offices, luxury hotels and industry. Prior to joining QNB Capital, Koleva was a senior real estate analyst at Resolute Asset Management.
CBRE Investment Management – Jenny Tuleby was appointed Head of Trading and Investment Operations for the Nordics. Tuleby will be responsible for implementing the Nordic transactions strategy, executing acquisitions and divestitures as well as overall management responsibility for the CBRE IM Nordics team. Tuleby joined from JLL, where she was a senior director in the international capital markets team, working on a wide range of international mandates. She joined JLL in 2010, initially in the research team, before joining capital markets where she spent several years working in several sectors.
BNP Paribas Real Estate – Harry Douglas has been appointed as a Director within the Alternative Markets team as BNPPRE expands its hotel valuation and advisory capabilities in the UK and Europe. Douglass joins from HVS London where for over 10 years he focused on valuations, acquisitions, sales and lettings of hotels, serviced apartments and leisure property investments throughout EMEA. Previously, he held management positions at the Meininger, Edward Symmons and Sanderson Weatherall hotels. Harry’s new role will see him join the hospitality team led by Richard Talbot-Williams and Jonathan Parrish as it bolsters its rating offering. This follows BNPPRE’s broader successes in the residential capital markets in BTR, Student Living and Healthcare & Senior Living, as these sectors become increasingly operational and strategic in their approach.
Schröders – Yossi Kraemer joined Schroders’ RF business, an alternative mortgage lending platform, as Head of Distribution. Schroders RF, a joint venture between Schroders and RF CorVal, a Sydney-based property investment firm, was formed last year. Kraemer was until recently Head of Institutional Capital with Qualities. Kraemer previously worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London as head of real estate capital markets and syndications in Europe and held senior positions at Credit Suisse and BNP Paribas.
CBRE – The global real estate advisor has appointed Allan Wickham as an occupant manager on its ESG advisory team. Wickham joins CBRE from NatWest Group, where he led the bank’s climate strategy for its global operations. As Head of Climate and Data Services, he was responsible for delivering Net Zero Carbon for NatWest’s own operations in 2020 and Climate Positive in 2022, achieving a carbon reduction of over 70%, delivering agreements renewable energy supply and power purchase, and establishing nature-based projects. to generate carbon credits.
Madison International Realty – The real estate private equity firm has appointed Kenny Moon as Managing Director to advance the company’s business in real estate platform investing. Moon will be based in Madison’s office in Los Angeles. Moon will focus exclusively on Madison’s real estate platform initiatives providing growth capital to public and private real estate companies. Moon has already served 12 years with Real Estate Investors Almanac where his most recent position was that of general manager. At Almanac, he researched, analyzed, underwrote and executed entity-level investments in private and public real estate operating companies in the United States and Canada, and previously served on the boards of HRIP Holdings. and PREP Property Group. Avison Young – Wesley Thompson joined the firm as ESG Director for the UK and Europe. Thomson will lead Avison Young’s ESG and sustainability advisory services in the UK and Europe, providing strategic advice to property investors, lenders and occupiers in the areas of sustainable investing, ESG strategy, risk and resilience. Join from JLL, Thomson was until recently a Senior Director within the Energy and Sustainable Solutions team, responsible for the EMEA region. Previously, he was Principal of the public sector consultancy Guidehouse and Managing Director of Thomson International, an ESG sustainability consultancy.
Built by nature – The network and grantmaking fund whose mission is to accelerate the transformation of timber construction in Europe and the UK has appointed Amanda Sturgeon as inaugural CEO. Sturgeon joins from Mott MacDonald, where she was responsible for regenerative design and climate change practice for the Asia-Pacific region. As former CEO of the US-based International Living Future Institute, she spent a decade creating regenerative frameworks such as the Living Building and Community Challenge programs, expanded the organization to the global scale and has created a global movement around biophilic design.
CIQ – Nicholas Palmer has been appointed partner in the transport sector, based in Sydney. Previously, a partner of Arcus Infrastructure Partners in London for 13 years, Palmer has over 25 years experience in the infrastructure sector in Australia and Europe. It focuses on the origination and management of assets in the transport and energy sub-sectors, as well as fundraising.
Frankish Knight – Holly Harris was appointed partner to run party wall and neighborhood affairs. In her new role, Harris will be responsible for advising clients on all matters relating to party walls, including boundary ownership matters and assisting in the effective and efficient development and management of urban sites through the surveying of party walls and representation of adjacent owners. She joins Knight Frank from The Goldsmith Partnership, where she worked as an associate director specializing in party wall issues for high-end commercial and residential clients.
